Police investigating the discovery of a body in a Nottinghamshire country park are treating the incident as non-suspicious.
Officers have released a description of the man who was found on Saturday morning at Gedling Country Park as efforts continue to identify him.
The man is described as being aged somewhere between his 50s and 70s, around 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build with dark brown, greying hair.
He was discovered wearing a dark green thigh-length wax-coated jacket, a dark blue-green jumper, light grey fleece tracksuit bottoms and black work boots.
The body was found by passer-by near the park's Spring Lane entrance.
A cordon was in place throughout the weekend while detectives made enquiries into the circumstances of the death.
The man's death was initially treated as unexplained but further enquiries confirmed no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Chief inspector Phil Davies from Nottinghamshire Police said: "Officers have been working tirelessly to establish the circumstances surrounding this sad discovery and we are now focusing our efforts entirely on identifying the gentleman concerned and attempting to trace anyone who may know him.
"We are continuing to ask people to check on any friends, neighbours and relatives who they believe could have been in the county recently and to contact Nottinghamshire Police with any concerns - especially if they match the man's description and they have not been seen or heard from recently."
