Daleside Road has re-opened following a fatal collision.
The A612 was closed for six-and-a-half hours after a motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, died when his bike was involved in a collision.
A man is in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the incident, which happened just after 6.30am on Wednesday.

The aftermath of the collision, near Lady Bay Retail Park, had caused severe tailbacks, with diversions in place.
Before the arrest, police had appealed for the rider of another motorbike to come forward.
Tributes have been pouring into the deceased on the Post's Facebook page.

The collision caused Nottingham City Transport's Red 44 and Citylink services to be delayed.
The company tweeted a message that the road was open at 1pm.
