The three men arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing in Eastwood have been bailed.
The trio, aged 25, 29 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Police were called to Ryemere Close, at about 7.45pm on Monday after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.
A 28-year-old man remains in hospital, after police previously said he was in a "serious condition" after the attack, described by police as a "serious assault".
Police spent most of Monday evening and Tuesday searching nearby bins, drains and gardens.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Three men arrested in connection with an assault in Eastwood have been bailed pending further investigation."
